Lord Abbot of a Buddhist Monastery of Muang Samut Sakhon District

       History of Phrakru Tummasakhon (Kap Yanatavattano), Wat Krok Kraks Previous Abbot and Lord Abbot of a Buddhist Monastery of Mahachai Sub-District, District 2. His former name was Kap and his surname was Jarensuk. He was born on Saturday 13th of January 1895, on the day of the seventh moon of February 1255, the year of small snake, during King Rama 5 at Ban Bang Ping, Nadee Sub-District, Muang Samut Sakhon District, Samut Sakhon Province. He was the son of Mr. Kai and Mrs. Loy Kaimuang. He had 2 cousins from a difference mother and 11 from his own mother. His ordination took place at Pattasrima Wat Raj Rung San, Khok Krabue Sub-District, Muang Samut Sakhon District, Samut Sakhon Province.

On the 12th of March 1913, he was named Yanatavattano by Phrakru Samutkunakorn Wat Tukmahachayaram who was the preceptor. Phra Athikan Toh of Wat Krok Krak was Phra Kum-Wa-Ja-Jahn (the monk who announced and prayed during the ordination period) Phra Athikan Chid of Wat Raj Rung San was Phra Anu-Sa-Wa-Na-Jahn (the monk who announced and prayed related with Phra Kum-wa-ja-jahn and also informed about the monks disciplinary rules). When he was ordained and he was hardly studied at Wat Raj Rung San and then moved to Wat Krok Krak in 1920. He was appointed acting the abbot of Wat Krok Krak by the hierarch. He developed this temple and wanted it to be more progressive.

In 1942 he was appointed acting primate of Mahachai Sub-District, District 2 and in 2020 he was promoted to Phrakru first rank of the Thai Sangha. He was known to have high spiritual powers and many people said that whoever wears Luang Por Pu Kaps necklace dont get in danger at all, even when someone encounters problem he can go home safely. He only and always brought goodness and acted well and in purity since he was ordained. He died on Saturday 7th of September 1974.

       History of Phrakru Sakhonkittikun (Kamon Kunatummo) the Former Lord Abbot of a Buddhist Monastery of Muang Samut Sakhon District. His previous name was Kamon and his surname was Muangkai. He was born on Monday 4th of December 1922, the first moon day of January, in the year of the dog, at Ban Bang Ping, Nadee Sub-District, Muang Samut Sakhon District, Samut Sakhon Province. His fathers name was Mr. Tum and his mother was Mrs. Pui. He had 3 cousins from his own mother and 5 cousins from a different mother.

He was ordained on 1st July, 1942 at Pattarasrima Wat Krok Krak by Phrakru Mahachaiboriruk of Wat Jetsadaram who was the preceptor. Phrakru Chod Junthasaro of Wat Raj Rung San was Phra Kum-Wa-Ja-Jahn (the monk who announced and prayed during the ordination period) Phra Athikan Kap Yanatavattano of Wat Krok Krak was Phra Anu-Sa-Wa-Na-Jahn (the monk who announced and prayed related with Phra Kum-Wa-Ja-Jahn and also informed about the monks disciplinary rules).

His religious nickname was Kuntummo, and on the 23th of March 1975 he was appointed acting abbot of Wat Krok Krak and Lord Abbot of a Buddhist Monastery of Krok Krak Sub-District. In 1988 he was promoted to first rank of Thai Sangha at Phrakru Sakhonkittikun and in 1995 he became Lord Abbot of a Buddhist Monastery of Muang Samut Sakhon District. On Tuesday 9th of January 1996 at 9.30 a.m., he was diagnosed with cancer and died in the temple residence at Wat Krok Krak.

 

Phrakru Wisudsittikun

Lord Abbot of a Buddhist Monastery of Krok Krak Sub-District and current Abbot of Wat Krok Krak

          History of Phrakru Wisudsithtikun (Phra Mahasamrit Wisudthasrilo) the Current Lord Abbot of a Buddhist Monastery of Krok Krak Sub-District and Abbot of Wat Krok Krak. His previous name was Samrit and his surname was Dejket. He was born on Monday 1st of February 1960.

His fathers name is Mr. Porn and his mothers name is Mrs. Cha-On. His address was 83 Village Number 1, Don Kai Dee Sub-District, Kratumban District, Samut Sakhon Province. He was ordained on Saturday 22nd of March 1980, at Pattasrima Wat Krok Krak by Phrakru Sakhonkittikun of Wat Krok Krak who was the preceptor. Phrakru Suwatsakhonkij of Wat Samakkeesattharam was Phra Kum-Wa-Ja-Jahn (the monk who announced and prayed during the ordination period). Phra Pongsak Chokipalo of Wat Krok Krak was Phra Anu-Sa-Wa-Na-Jahn (the monk who announced and prayed related with Phra Kum-Wa-Ja-Jahn and also informed about the monks disciplinary rules).

His religious nickname was Wisudthasrilo who passed the third level of Pali studies, and achieved the highest level in dhamma scholar in 2001. He became the abbot of Wat Krok Krak in 2002. He was appointed acting the lord abbot of a Buddhist monastery of Krok Krak Sub-District and the preceptor in 2003. After that in 2007 he was promoted to Phrakru sunyabat or second rank lord abbot of a Buddhist monastery with the name of Prakruwisutsittikun. He restructured part of the temple because it was too close to Tha Chin River and he was concerned about the river water flooding the temple. He therefore built a dam and restored the entire temple residences and pavilions in the temple. In 2006 he bought the land and expanded temples area of more than 10 panels.

The project cost 20 millions baht and 5 more millions were spent to buy more soil. The revenues were obtained from the selling of his first holy talisman known as Somdet Luang Por Pu which named the achievement volume 1. In 2007, he made holy objects of Somdet Luang Por Pu and Luang Pu Kap which named the achievement volume 2 and they had a circular shape. One was 5 cms. and the other was 3.2 cms. Their colours are gold, silver, copper and gray. The ceremony started on the 25th December of 2007. The abbot provided the money to build the new crematory, spending the amount of 12 millions baht. At the present, the new crematory builds about 70% completed. The abbot is also improving Krok Krak temples court for the people who would like to prepare every event in the temple.
